DANNY studied architecture at Kingston and Westminster Universities before turning his attention to design and graphics, he went on to create print campaigns for the likes of PLAYSTATION, PEUGEOT, NIKE and ADIDAS to name a few, gaining a D&AD nomination along the way.
In 2000 DANNY teamed up with EZRA HOLLAND to form half of the multi-disciplinary design and media collective GENERAL LIGHTING AND POWER where they combined their talents to make short films and 3D animation. They went on to direct pop promos for the likes of GROOVE ARMADA and GOLDFRAPP whilst at the same time adapting short films for use by clients such as HOEGAARDEN and AUDI.
2004 saw DANNY gain commercial representation via HANRAHAN, proceeding to SERIOUS PICTURES during 2006. This period saw Danny direct a variety of notable spots for clients including NIKE, NATIONAL AIDS TRUST, MTV COBRA BEER, CHRISTIAN AID, BLACK & DECKER, RADOX and J&B WHISKY.
Most recently, DANNY has shot idents for NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC. With this venture he became a member of a very select club - consisting of three members - of directors to have filmed commercials in zero gravity!
DANNY thrives on creative challenges, where problem solving is a necessity. This combined with an in-depth understanding of post-production techniques ultimately leads to unique, high quality work.
