Food – it’s TV’s hottest commodity. At the forefront of this sizzling hot broadcasting trend is one of its defining gastro-directors, Stuart Bateup. From the Two Fat Ladies to the Hairy Bikers.
Stuart has been instrumental in shaping some of our favourite foodie personalities, while stimulating our appetites with his mouthwatering food photography. Stuart took to directing like a chef to an Aga and swiftly accumulated a host of foodie credits including Saturday Kitchen, Great British Menu, and the deliciously voyeuristic culinary series Raymond Blanc’s Kitchen Secrets.
Stuart’s own appetite for gastro-directing was stimulated by his natural talent in this field, and it’s a passion that exudes from every aspect of his work.
Stuart has just completed a delicious ten-part series for UK TV. Korean Food Tour, fronted by the chef John Torode, will air 2017.
